Public Service Announcement # 2 Issued on: Thursday September 28, 2017, at 11:40 a.m. Donation – Help to Impacted Islands

The Office of Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Management (ODPEM) wishes to advise the public that the national disaster office is coordinating an initiative aimed at providing support to the impacted states of the Caribbean.

Your donations may be in two forms, i.e. monetary and in-kind.

Monetary Donations may be made at any branch of the National Commercial Bank.

·         Account Name: ODPEM DONATION ACCOUNT (Oxford Road Branch)

·         Account Number: 212-387-304.

We are asking organizations and individuals offering donations to take note of the following priority items.

·         Bottled water                                                                   

·         Non-Perishable Food Items (canned products preferred)                                            

·         Tarpaulins                                                                          

·         Sheet sets

·         Collapsible water containers

·         Lighting/Flashlights Lanterns/Batteries

·         Diapers

·         Hygiene Articles

 Items can be delivered to the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management at  2-4 Haining Road Kingston 5 on Mondays to Fridays from 9:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. 

“Help Impacted Islands initiative” is being coordinated by the ODPEM as a response to the devastating effects of Hurricane Irma and Maria.
